10 Reasons Why My Blog is Better than Your Blog

Click HERE To See How I Get 25-50 Free Visitors To My Website Every Single Day and Please Subscribe to Warrior Blog by Email IF You Enjoy Our Content. Thank You.

1. I have less advertisements. Is your blog full of Adsense and different ads? You do not want to put too much ads on your blog because it look spammy and will confuse your readers - which will push people away.

2. I update daily. You do not update your blog every single day or every two days. Whenever I come across a blog that have not updated for 3 or more days - I leave immediately after checking out their content which are usually poor quality. If you have to go somewhere - then ask for a guess blogger or do auto posting.

3. I have a unique theme. Your blog still have that default theme and look ugly! I do not like to visit blog with that default wordpress theme or the same old blogger theme. Change your theme so that it stand out from the rest of the crowd. You do not have to buy a custom design - there are many free good looking themes out there.

4. I have unique content. You get your ideas from other blogs and write off of them. An example of this would be the release of BlogRush. Stop writing about something that many other bloggers have already wrote about. Steven Snell show us how we can come up with new ideas to blog about in his 13 Ways to Create Unique Contents post.

5. I have a logo. Do you want to be memorable and look more professional? Getting a good looking logo is not expensive at all. You do not have to spend a fortune like Problogger - all you need is about $10 to get a logo at Digital Point. I think people who are really serious about blogging will get a logo like me.

6. I communicate with my commentators. If I see a post that is getting a lot of comments but the author is not responding then it turn me off to leave a comment also. However, I do understand that we all are busy and have a life - but even Darren Rowse respond to his commentators sometime.

7. I post valuable and beneficial content. Have you ever come across one of those blogs that frequently do self promotion posts? They are alway posting something about themselves and have nothing to beneficial to the readers. I dislike those kind of blogs but remember that a blog is just a web log so you do not have to give when writing your post. If you want less traffic and readers - then keep doing that.

8. I reward those who participate. I honestly do not like visiting blog that does not reward their top commentators in someway. You can reward them by installing the top commentator plugin, mention them in your post for participation, or drop by their blog to participate. I got mentioned once by Darren in his post for participating which made me very happy.

9. I make it easy for my readers to use my blog. I do not put up hundreds of links on my blog which create confusion. I keep it neat and simple to navigate and read by using picture and a simple layout.

10. [What do you think should go here?] I am leaving this spot for one best answer from my readers. Give me your suggestion and I will pick out the best one to put here and your link.

Update: I have chosen two tips from my readers instead because I though they were all great  . Bunk and Jacob is the winner this time because what they said is very true and important.

Bunk said: “You allow your readers to complete your Top 10 lists! Seriously though, you leave your posts with room for discussions. You ask questions and encourage readers to share input.

Jacob said: “I am passionate about my topic; because I enjoy my subject and enjoy writing about it, my posts are much natural and easier to read than posts by bloggers who are going through the motions.

Thank you for reading guys and gals - Please consider subscribing and stumbling me if you enjoyed this post

#10 Your posts are actually interesting and useful. All the other bloggers write the same crap as you but it is almost unreadable, your posts say the same crap but in a much more enjoyable way.

    Sean,

Hey great post! This is my first visit. After reading this post, I feel pretty good about all the stuff that I do on my blog.

the only time Where I may get more than a day in between posts is from Friday to Monday. I usually spend time with the family on Saturday and Sunday’s are my Sabbath.

Thanks again for a great post!

I give video reviews in my blog like no other blogger does!
I have been doing video reviews for all the bloggers asking for reviews, and it’s been a great time for me doing blog reviews for all of them at just $10 with your blog live on TV!

Is mine better?? *just joking, sean*

    10) I keep the pointless posts to a minimum.

Yesterday I wrote a post on my blog about 11 kinds of posts that really just waste my time as a reader. You’ve touched on some of those in this article already. Any good blog should keep the ‘fluff’ to a minimum.

Suggestion for 10 - you write good stuff that we want to read.

These are all great points Sean. The not communicating with commentors is particlarly annoying. I see blogs where commentors ask questions and the poster never responds.

“Your blog still have that default theme and look ugly!”

Ouch! That hurts a lot.

Well, I like your blog’s layout, but above all I like its content. Your layout wouldn’t have made me subscribe to your RSS feed. Your content has made me part of your current 99 subscribers. And on Google Reader the most beautiful theme won’t make any difference to me.

“I do not like to visit blog with that default wordpress theme or the same old blogger theme.”

Then I assume you dislike my blog.

You’ve already chosen the winners, so I won’t try to fill up that last spot, although your own post gave me an idea about that.

Well, you’re just a tiny bit better than my blog. You’ve only got me beat on one (maybe two) points.

I do not update daily as I just don’t have time a lot of times. I do try to update at least twice to three times a week. I sincerely hope this doesn’t scare people away

As for #7, I like to think my content is beneficial, but that’s really subjective. I guess that fact that I have readers returning and I continue to slowly build traffic and subscribers, someone out there find’s it beneficial.

    Nice post. I stumbled it.
