How would you like to learn how you can get hundreds more visitors to your blog using videos? Please read this post first if you have not started using Youtube and videos to get traffic. Now that you are convince how powerful videos can be - read on.
The crazy method
We are going to create 10-20 videos and upload them to multiple popular video websites. The more videos you create - the better. I have recently logged into one of my Youtube account and notice that the total amount of views for my 3 videos was a little over 3400 already in 3 months which I did nothing to promote. Yes - there are some things you can do to promote your videos.
So I started to think - What if I create more videos and upload them to a lot more popular websites…
You get the idea and this will work. I am only writing this because I wanted to write something of value and know most of you will not take action because of the amount of works. Prove me wrong!
Step 1. Create your videos
This is the most important step - but it is very easy if you are creative and don’t mind speaking into a microphone. You need to decide what you want to achieve with your video before you create it. Once you know what you want your viewers to do after finishing watching video - you can start to plan out how your video will look like.
I use a simple software called Camtasia to do my videos. I am not very creative but I just create a video where I talk into a mic guiding them along on what I’ am doing on my screen. This may sound simple from what I just described above but please use your imagination and creativity to create an entertaining yet luring video. People react to entertaining videos - not boring videos.
Important: Show them your URL at the beginning and end of the video. You also want to provide the URL in the description box for the video.
Step 2. Duplicate the videos
I know what you are thinking but read on. We now take our original video and change it a little bit by adding more to it or taking out of it so that those videos website doesn’t think it is a duplicate. Keep changing your videos until you have made around 10-20 of them and each one is different but speak of the same thing.
I am currently trying to create one video each day and uploading it multiple times to many websites. I will show you how to upload your videos to multiple websites in 3 steps later.
Step 3. Upload all your videos
I discovered something that will do all the work for you
You do not have to log into each account anymore when uploading a video. All you need to do is head over to Heyspread and start using it. The steps to using Heyspread is self explanatory, so I won’t go into that.
Conclusion
We all know that there are some videos on Youtube or Metacafe that gets over 10,000 views in days because it is entertaining and creative. So be creative and clever in creating a video and you will make a killing!
Note: You could also use video to promote affiliate product
but buy a domain to look clean and pro. I hope this article have helped anyone that need more traffic and please consider subscribing if you like this article!

Thanks for the tips Sean - this is really useful info - especially for those who are hopeless with technology like me.
I’m going to try this, just as soon as I’ve finished the Robbing Craigslist experiment.

Very Interesting! I just started a new blog and was thinking of getting Camtasia to do some walkthrus’s of a few tools I use…
I hadn’t thought of using them on video sites but may be something I need to work towards in future
Thanks for the input!

Great post. I know I will never make a video but I do love to watch them online. I do use links to videos but am not sure how many people click on them.

I am very interested in creating videos as a promotional method. As an ex-videographer, you´d think it would be easy for me, but I seem to always have other more important stuff to do!

Video blogging is kind of hard for me, but pretty interesting to try.

Btw, I think Article marketing still work like charm, isn’t it? Video blogging for us who are not a native english speaker would be a hard task. Except if we can hire an english teacher to help us become the speaker!
