Out of curiosity and fun: I want to know what your desktop look like and I will link to you in an upcoming post if you decide to do a post on it as well  .

This is what mine look like currently (click here to view larger image):

Here is quick write on what you’re looking at:

  • On the left side: I have self improvement music and programs here. Some of the programs are eyeQ and affirmation software.
  • On the bottom: These are my works folders: I keep them all organize down here.
  • On the right: This is where I have all the programs that I use in my work (Thunderbird, Word, Excel, DreamWeaver, PhotoShop, etc)

What up with all the text on my desktop? Well… I use for affirmation purpose and it is a good way for me to stay focus and motivated. My desktop look very simple too so thats a good thing. Oh yeah, If you are wondering how I created that reflection for the picture: I use PowerPoint 2007 to do it.

What do think of my desktop? and what does your look like? C’mon share it. I will visit and comment.

I also want to thank Shankar for coming up with this idea.

I really like the affirmations on the desktop. I won’t be posting screenshot of mine, but I may make a post about why.

I can describe mine. I use Windows Vista with taskbar on the top and only Recycle bin icon on the desktop.

I can’t stand to see icons on my desktop. It’s a disease I know.

    I change wallpapers frequently.

    Nice idea.

I was thinking the other day I needed to have my board of inspiring quotes and things near my computer because I’m there so much.

The desktop inspiration board makes so much sense!

I like the idea. It’s not original, but for blogging I guess it is? I really liked the inspiration desktop idea. I’ve never seen that before. Well I couldn’t upload my current desktop because of bandwidth problems.

But.. this is what it says:
“This is a Department of Defense Computer System. OPSEC remains intact no matter where you go. Don’t let information ruin your life!”

I also supplied two screen shots of my older desktops.

Well my desktop since I don’t have my own computer at the moment. I’m deployed so that should clear some confusion, lol. Well the desktop says this…

“OPSEC what you send won’t come back. You want to ruin your life? that’s your decision.”

I’m in the Army, and these computers have all kinds of stuff as desktops.

    Cool desktop ;)
    Here is mine: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/zippiz/Mysupercooldesktop.jpg
No icons, and automatically hidden taskbar. Changed 2 it y-day, had lots of icons on my desktop b4. I’ve no quick launch as well, and just 1 very important program in the system tray (not internet or Windows Update).
I’ve hidden all my icons on my desktop.
