Writing articles can make you good money if you know what you’re doing. You are about to learn how you can make good money each month for just writing articles. It is not easy and does take 2 hours of work each day or more to make around $500 or more.
I too have been busy writing articles and playing Halo 3
this last couple of days that I did not have time to be active on blogging
Writing For Associate Content:
You will be writing for Associate Content. You are basically going to write and submit articles to AC to make money.
This sound very simple but it’s not that easy to make money from Associate Content. Read on to find out how you can make more money from Associate Content right now.
You must sign up to AC first and customize it. Please be prepared to fill out a W-9 form and either mail or fax it back to Associated Content as your earnings start to increase. They will need this information for tax purposes.
The 2 areas you’ll need to visit regularly is “My Account” and “My Content”.
My account allows you to see your messages and personal information. My content will allow you to view your articles and see which of them have been accepted. You’ll also be able to see what bonuses have been assigned to you and accept/reject payments on the articles you submitted.
The basics of submitting articles to AC for cash:
You simply log into your account, click the “submit content” tab, and scroll down to text submissions. Usually you’ll be submitting general articles. Make sure you check : This content is being submitted for payment consideration.
A few days after submission…you’ll be sent an offer for your article. You can either accept or decline it from the “my content” tab. You’ll be paid in a few more days.
The more views your content get, the more money you make. This will continue to earn you money for just about forever.
Tips to make more money on Associate Content:
- Submit exclusive articles. Your articles has more value if it is not all over the internet and will get more view.
- Write longer articles. Aim for at least 800 words because If your article takes up two pages instead of one, Associated Content gets to display double the amount of ads. This will benefit both AC and you.
- Use your niche knowledge. Writing about really hot niches will up your earnings.
- Submit pictures along with your content. They always command a higher price.
- Do not write internet marketing articles. This niche is a little too crowded and many aren’t interested in this.
- Write a compelling headline. This will get you more views and that makes you more money.
- Do not write articles from a first person point of view. Try to be professional and appear as an authority.
- This is a numbers game. You should be writing 4 articles an hour.
- Write reviews on products or whatever you have used. Write reviews on movies or even books.
- Write a story when you happen to think of one that is unique. It could be just about anything that will help other and create interests.
- Be controversial. If you can find a really interesting subject to write about that may be a little controversial, write about it since these tend to attract a lot of attention.
- Read and write often. Readers tend to be better writers and those that write regularly tend to be better writers.
Can you make money on AC?
Yes you can but it require a lot of writing and work. You must write quickly and write articles that create interests. I GUARANTEED you can easily make $500 per month or more if you spend 2 hours or more each day writing 10 GREAT articles.

That sounds like WAAAAY too much effort for the rewards you can get. I can’t write 4 articles per hour. Perhaps I could on a niche that I already knew inside and out but generally I’d need to do some research first.
Now I assume your $500 figure is based on 10 articles per day x 30 days = 300 articles. Well even if I could write 3 per hour, thats 100 hours of work for $500. That’s $5 per hour.
No thank you on this one :p If I’m going to put that much effort into writing articles I want to make sure that my own sites are benefiting from it.

The workload trusted on the writer is too huge. I sometimes find it hard to produce quality articles for my blogs and now 10 posts daily? No way!

You don’t need to come up with an article yourself! I will show you how you can create a totally unique and quality article next time in only 15 min.

You forgot to mention that non-US writers will NEVER ever be paid by AC. This is clearly stated on their site. So this tip isn’t valid for many of your visitors — myself included.

I agree with YC and Karen. I would have been pouncing like crazy on AC if I am a US citizen!

Sean - i don’t like this idea. That’s 600 articles written in a month for $500. It’s less than a $ per article. Have you honestly tried this?
Plus - you’d be writing an article every 12 minutes, so it would hardly be great quality.
I could see how it could mount up if all the articles you had written in a year were to continue making the same amount indefinitely. But, I’m guessing that’s not likely to happen right?

Oh yeah, forgot about the location thing…
Caroline: the $500 is just a guess, I honestly don’t know because I haven’t used them for that long to know.
But remember that as those older articles get more views, you make more money in future.

If I’m not wrong (again), non-US residents can get paid by AC, but not per article. Only per 1000 impressions of your articles.
This wouldn’t be worth the time for non-US residents because of the low rate ($1.50/eCPM). That’s like $15 if you get a total of 10,000 views of your articles - it’s hard enough getting that for most bloggers in a month, although you can leverage on AC’s traffic but it’s iffy.
That said if you can churn out many articles easily, and especially in popular niches, you can still try this (non-US residents). Especially for articles that you can write in 10-15 mins and can’t sell it anywhere else.
