It really feel good to learn more each day but it even feel better to learn it from someone who already been through it. Let me explain to you what I meant…
It is smart to learn from your mistakes but it is even smarter to learn from someone else mistakes.
Today I am going to talk to you about the important of spying on your competition and why you should be taking the time to learn from them. We all know that making money online require testing and lots of testing to see if it is profitable.
This all could apply to:
- Pay Per Click
- Article Marketing
- Affiliate Marketing
- Sales Letter
- So much more…
An example: Lets say you are doing Article Marketing and you need to find out what the most profitable niche is and how to make the most out of Article Marketing in general.
Instead of testing it yourself and writing dozens of Articles to get the result…You could:
- Find someone who have been doing this for many months.
- See how they are writing their article in every aspects.
- Look at the amount of views to see if people are interested in that niche.
- Do a Google search on that person name to see what other Article Directories they are also using.
- Look at the amount of articles they have submitted.
- Check out their website and see what they are doing.
- Etc Etc.
I think you are getting the point here
The truth is that I am a little lazy when it come to testing and I rather spy on others to see how they are doing it whenever possible, which saves me time and money.
If I cannot do this then of course I will do the work myself
That is why we have eBook and other resources because people hate testing and doing research.
So please do yourself a favor and learn from other people in whatever you are doing. More importantly, learn from yourself.

This helped me a lot before I started trading. I read every single trading blog out there for 2 months before even thinking about putting down any real money.

Sean - totally agree, you should spy on the competition all the time. You can learn from both the good and bad things your competitors are doing. But, it’s best not to copy every single thing as you need to be different and have your own USP.
And don’t forget, they can and will spy on you too!

Great tips, and very creative. I guess the difficult areas would be finding what other’s have done (research) and deciding what is good from bad. I have a question for you, where do you come up with your topics? What’s your inspiration?

All these are clear tips but what is strange is that most people don’t even want to learn from these mistakes and fear more!
